“Come on Samantha were going to be late!”
“Okay Hannah” a shadow emerged from a dark shaded room, she wore a black/red lined sleeveless top on, grey skinny jeans which hugged her waist nicely, she had elbow length hair that was a light shaded brown with added black streaks, here and there, sun kissed skin and black ballerina shoes which laced up her leg underneath her jeans. But the most fascinating thing about her was her amethyst eyes they seemed to glow whenever you make eye contact with them.
She began to walk down the stairs which was across from her bedroom, she took her time because they was only meeting Justin she has known him since a young age after Hannah became her friend. She could easily tell that Hannah liked him, the way she looks at him while they walk around in school. It did her head in seeing her all lovey dovey like that it made her sick. What is love? She’d never felt love ever since that tragic day when her Dad died. She stopped dead in her tracks she could see out of the corner of her eye that someone was watching, she snapped her head round to come face to face with her pet; Tally the cat. Samantha took a last look at her then carried on walking down the 2 flights of stairs.
“SAMANTHA GET DOWN HERE AND STOP TAKING THE COOKIE!” Hannah screamed at the top of her lungs.
“I think you mean biscuit” She corrected her whilst walking towards her with a smirk on her tanned face.
Hannah was wearing a knee length dress which was shaded a pinky red her strawberry blonde waist length hair was tied up in a bun at the side of her head some strands of hair sticking out of the bun making it look wild. She wore on her feet black ankle boots, her sapphire eyes were decorated with blue sparkly eye shadow, black mascara which made her eye lashes look like they weren’t real black eye liner to finish with, but with lip gloss on her strawberry red lips.
“It’s not my fault that I get slag mixed up, we told Justin we’d meet him at Willow Park at 9 now (looks at watch) 9:05 were late” she stood with her hand on her hips trying to look serious.
“Oh come on stop exaggerating Hannah just because you like him” She copied her pose
Hannah quickly turned around, Samantha knew she was blushing. She’d known her for too long.
“C-come on were going to be even more late if we don’t leave now” She stuttered still not turning her head to look at her friend, Samantha grabbed her wrist ran towards the door, turned around
“MUM, IM GOING OUT!” she then slammed the door shut making sure her mum heard her right.
10 minutes later
They had been walking for 10 minutes now that was until they spotted Willow Park, they quickened their paces they didn’t want to be more late.
They finally reached the park in a matter of minutes. Hannah and Samantha stopped and put their hands on their knees trying to catch their breath. Once they finally got their breath back they started to look for the one and only Justin.
While they were looking for him, afraid he’d gone home, spotted some children and their parents, Samantha looked at them with sadness in her eyes. One of the kids dads asked who the kid loved the most was it the mum or the dad. She couldn’t stand looking at them anymore so she decided to look somewhere else.
After a while she laid down on the grass looking up at the clouds as they strolled by, she heard the kids and their parents coming closer she got up and walked away she looked at the scar that was on her wrist it was in the shape of a cat paw. Her dad had always told her that she was his special daughter he told her this all the time it make her weep inside.
“I miss you dad, mum is having a mental breakdown and left me alone to fight the world myself, you tried to save someone but instead the murders killed you instead” She whispered as she looked into a lake she had approached. When she looked down she saw something in the water, she reached down to grab the object but then a hand came out of the water and dragged her down into the green/bluey depths of the lake.
Under the water she was starved for air her lungs felt like they would explode, she remembered something important. SHE COULDN’T SWIM!
‘OMG I’M GOING TO DIE’ she thought as she was dragged deeper and deeper into the lake, darkness surrounded her vision leaving her in a black void of nothingness.
